After growing up in a small farming community in Illinois, I moved to Phoenix to begin my 22-year career as an attorney. Having spent the first fifteen years of my legal career as a litigator, I moved to Tucson seven years ago to join Tucson Electric Power Company. In my role as Assistant General Counsel, I manage a team responsible for TEP’s litigation and risk strategies including dispute resolution, insurance, claims management, labor and employment, records retention, enterprise risk and business continuity. I pride myself on being a quick-study, service-minded, people person. I love that I get to help others succeed! I hold a Bachelor of Arts (History), Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
The opportunity to serve on the RMHC-SA board is truly an honor. Like so many families, I have a personal connection to Ronald McDonald House. My son was born in 2010 with a rare medical condition that required lengthy trips from Phoenix to Chicago to see a medical specialist. Ultimately, he had eleven surgeries beginning when he was 7 months old. The stress and strain upon my wife, our daughter who was just 2 years old, and me was extraordinary. We were blessed to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago. The kindness and comfort we felt had a profound impact on me, and I will make it my mission to help the Tucson house deliver the same comfort to families in need.
Today, my son is healthy and active in Boy Scouts, my daughter is a passionate soccer player and my wife, also an attorney, is my partner in this great adventure called life. When not working, I volunteer with my son’s Boy Scout Troop, support my daughter’s soccer club, and play guitar so dreadfully that it isn’t fit for anybody’s ears.

My estate planning practice is focused on family wealth preservation and succession strategies. There is no “typical” problem in the area of personal and estate planning: the mix of life circumstances and business and personal assets is unique for each person and family. I believe in cutting-edge estate planning tailored to realizing family objectives.
I assist clients in defining their overall objectives and then finding an effective and efficient way to achieve those objectives. My experience with estate and gift tax laws assist clients in the implementation of their estate planning objectives. I also facilitate a client’s planning for death and incapacity with a variety of estate planning techniques, including revocable trusts and wills, durable powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, living wills, charitable planning, planning for qualified and IRA assets, asset protection, succession planning as well as trust and estate administrations.

I believe that the Ronald McDonald House provides invaluable services to those in need at their greatest time of need. When you have a sick child you need as much help as possible so that you can focus all of your energy on them and RMH does so many things to allow families to do that. My participation with RMH is a way for me to help in that mission and it is my honor to be a part of the House.

My connection to the Ronald McDonald House dates back 30 years, when I had the honor of playing in the Ronald McDonald Pro-Am golf tournament in Wilmington, DE. As the title sponsor, the Sara Lee team was invited to visit the local House and I was forever touched by the energy and positive attitude of the staff and the overwhelming feeling of joy, hope and thanks I felt from the families as they lived through some very trying circumstances.
Now that my wife, Karen, and I are settled full time in Tucson the time has come to become personally involved and fulfill my obligation as a board member.

I retired in 2016 after a forty-five-year career in healthcare with a previous stint in public accounting. Over my forty-year tenure, Geisinger Health evolved into a large regional integrated health service organization based in Danville, Pennsylvania. I served as Geisinger’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1983 until retirement. At its core Geisinger’s is a multispecialty group practice of approximately 2,000 employed physicians including a comprehensive pediatric clinical program.
In 1974 my second daughter, three-month-old Nikki, was diagnosed with cancer. Nikki was referred to Dr. Audrey Evans at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in September of 1974 one month prior to the opening of the very first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. While never having stayed at the Ronald McDonald House my family learned of Dr. Evans’s passionate spearheading of this concept with the Philadelphia Eagles and Regional McDonald’s Owner/Operators.
In 1980, I introduced the Ronald McDonald House concept to Geisinger leadership, which led to co-founding the Ronald McDonald House of Danville. The original Ronald McDonald House of Danville opened its doors in April 1981 followed by a new larger Ronald McDonald House several years later.
At my retirement, the Ronald McDonald House of Danville’s Board dedicated its Playroom in Nikki’s memory and renamed the street on which the Ronald McDonald House is located “Trembulak Way.”
I remain a staunch supporter of the Ronald McDonald House program and am honored to be a member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona Board.

I was first exposed to the Ronald McDonald House in 2019 when I was invited to attend the annual House Party. During that event I was able to tour both the house and mobile dental unit, and I was inspired by all the ways the House contributes to our community. As a parent of a NICU baby I understand how critical being able to remain close to your sick child is. I was blessed to become a volunteer board member in 2021 and proud to be a part of helping to continue to keep children and families close when it matters most.

As a retired TMC Labor and Delivery RN, volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House just made sense for me. I started volunteering at the House in 2016 and feel very blessed to be giving back. But what really draws me to the House is the compassion towards all the families staying there that I see every day. All the staff and volunteers make the House truly a “home-away-from-home.”

Being in the McDonald’s business, we are blessed to be closely associated to the Ronald McDonald House. I have friends who are leaders of major local businesses who have stated they are envious of the partnership McDonald’s has with their non-profit partner. My passion for cycling has allowed me to lead the RMHC El Tour Team and increase the number of riders each year through my local community cycling affiliation. The RMHC of South Arizona will always hold a special place in my family’s heart as we had an ‘In Memory of plaque’ donated and placed in the courtyard for a family member we lost tragically in 2008. Every time I visit, it makes me feel good to know I have such a great connection with my local McDonald’s partners and RMH.

Working in academic medicine the last 13 years allowed me to see all aspects of healthcare . My office was on the same floor as our pediatric bone marrow transplant unit, which, as an outsider to their care, was hard to see day after day. As a destination hospital for pediatric cancer care, I quickly learned about the Ronald McDonald House and all they did for our patients and families. While I am grateful that I have never needed the services of RMHC, I have seen firsthand the incredible care they provide during difficult times. As a native Tucsonan, helping serve our community is something I am passionate about and I couldn’t be more proud to help volunteering through this board.

I’m a Tucson native and a licensed Realtor for 18 years. I work for Realty Executives Arizona Territory and learned of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona through a wonderful program — Agents for Change. With every home we sell, we donate part of our commission to RMHC. I am elated to have met such a wonderful group of people who truly care about these families, giving them a home away from home. I knew this was a great cause from the moment I first walked in the House, and I had to be a part of it! I have been blessed to be a part of the Red Shoe Society since 2018. I enjoy volunteering my time to give back to this house, the families in it, and the community we live in.

A few years ago, Bob Logan was invited to serve as the emcee for the annual House Party at the Ronald McDonald House. During this experience, he was given tours of the facility and listened directly to stories from parents who had benefited from the services provided by RMHC. The opportunity was deeply humbling for him, as he witnessed the positive impact the organization has on families facing difficult circumstances. In addition to his role as emcee, Bob has frequently volunteered as a cook for RMHC, representing Winers & Diners—a local non-profit dedicated to supporting Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
Bob Logan is the President of Find Your Path, LLC, a motivational speaking and consulting firm he founded following more than 30 years of service at the University of Arizona. Throughout my nursing career, I have come to recognize the immense value that the Ronald McDonal House Charities of Southern Arizona (RMHC-SA) brings to our community. The Ronald McDonald House provides a safe haven for families who are facing the unimaginable stress and uncertainty of having a child in the hospital. It offers them a supportive and comforting environment where they can find solace, receive emotional support, and connect with other families who are going through similar experiences.
The opportunity to be a part of the RMHC-SA board of directors allows me to extend my commitment to providing compassionate and holistic care beyond the hospital walls. By volunteering with the RMHC-SA, I have the privilege of making a difference in the lives of these families during their most challenging times. I am eager to make a meaningful impact and be a part of this remarkable organization.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Ronald McDonald House Charities all throughout my career working in the pediatric hospital setting and have seen firsthand the immense impact that this organization has had on pediatric patients and their families.
