The Problem and Our Purpose...

Faced with a child’s illness, life shifts instantly, and parents enter a world of fear and worry. For parents who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs, there’s an added stress. Living expenses can quickly add up. There could be long drives from home to the hospital, worried siblings, lost jobs, finding and paying for nutritious meals. These are extra burdens no family should have to experience.

With the generosity of our community, the efforts of our volunteers, staff and our local McDonald’s teams, we are nurturing the health and well-being of children and their families through three programs.

Our Mission

To nurture the health and well-being of children and their families.

Our Vision

A world where all children have access to medical care and their families are supported and actively involved in their children’s care.

Our Values

Compassion

We are guided by compassion in every interaction and every decision we make.

Love

The first Ronald McDonald House was built with love and love remains at the heart of our work.

Family

When a child is sick, there’s nothing better than having family close. Our focus is always on family.

Gratitude

We are grateful and express gratitude for our donors, friends, volunteers and the families who place their trust in us.

More than 70% of the contributions we need to fund our mission each year come from individuals in our local community. Together, we accomplish great things.
