Judy Mason Jasmine and Art Volunteer Head Shots

Volunteer Appreciation Week 2016

4.10.16

Meet Judy. Judy has been volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House Charities for almost 28 years. Why does she still come back every Tuesday? “I love knowing that I’m making a difference, and I still have more to learn.”

Meet Jasmine. Jasmine has been volunteering at the RMHC for 2 months. Her smile brightens the House every Friday. She started volunteering “because of the great support system that they provide to families with sick children.”

Art is a retired doctor who also volunteers on Fridays. He has spent the past 92 years keeping kids and their families happy and healthy.

Then there’s Mason. Mason is 17 years old. When school is out, you’ll find him here at the House baking or volunteering at our events.

From our newest to our most tenured, and from our seniors to our high school seniors, at the RMHC of Southern Arizona, we owe our ability to fulfill our mission to our dedicated volunteers. To celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Week, we are proud to highlight our chefs and board members, House and Family Room volunteers, college students, seniors, and our former families who pay it forward. Stay tuned for a heart-warming week celebrating the most passionate we know in the Tucson and Southern Arizona communities.
