If a family is uninsured or their insurance will not cover the $25 nightly rate, we ask that they pay a discounted rate of $15 per night to stay at the House. However, many families cannot afford even this small amount for an extended period. Our actual cost per night per family is $90. Families unable to pay are never turned away, but are placed on our Adopt-a-Family program, to fund their stay. Only 5% of our annual operating budget is funded by guest fee contributions.

Located at University Medical Center, the Family Room extends our care and comfort to families both near and far by creating a little piece of Ronald McDonald House right inside the hospital.
