For Schools

Schools and youth groups make a BIG impact on the lives of our families by participating in our programs aimed at young people. There are a number of ways that your kids can get involved at RMHC.

Pop Tab Pandemonium

Ronald McDonald House Charities invites local schools of all levels to participate in “Pop Tab Pandemonium.” The program can be used to teach classes the principles of philanthropy, as well as basic math and estimating skills. We have hand-outs and work sheets available for interested teachers. Learn more about Pop Tab Pandemonium.

Electronics Recycling

Kids use a lot of technology – and they update their gadgets faster than most of us can learn to use them. Encourage Electronics recycling in your classroom and use the lesson to benefit RMHC. We recycle personal electronics and ink cartridges to keep them out of landfills and use the money raised to help pay our electric bill. Call the House for more information at 520-326-0060.

Wish List Drive

RMHC runs on the power of donations from the community – donations of everyday items we all need to run our homes. Paper towels, trash bags, cake mix – your students can make a contest out of collecting the everyday things we need to make the House a Home for our families. Encourage the classrooms to compete to see who can collect the most of a certain item. View our wish list.
